- Favorite character - Outside of the obvious (Jessica and Seth) I always like the Irish detective Sean Culhane (George Hearn) and, of course, the irrepressible Harry McGraw (Jerry Orbach)
- Character I would sleep with - I don’t care what Eve Simpson said. Didn’t happen.
- Character I would be good friends with - Jessica
- Least favorite character - Grady. Ugh.
- Favorite episode - “Mirror, Mirror On the Wall Parts 1&2” By and large I prefer the Cabot Cove episodes or travel episodes featuring Seth.
- Favorite season - Tricky. Middle seasons, though not those with long stretches of anthology episodes (When Angela was away).
- Favorite relationship - Jessica and Seth. I also like the occasional echo of Jessica’s late husband Frank. He’s not an overbearing presence or absence, so when they did invoke his name, it was powerful. Jessica also falls for a charismatic murderer in the pilot, and that tragic relationship was quite interesting. He turns up again a few seasons later and my heart couldn’t deal with it. But my absolute favorite relationship is Jessica and technology. She’s never afraid of learning new things.
- Least favorite relationship - Jessica and Magnum. Get your Magnum P.I. out of my Murder, She Wrote.
